Find a New Hobby

My mom is really irritated with me because I can't come up with much to do when I am not working. I can't get myself to start a project when I don't know when I am moving. Therefore, I am driving her nuts by watching "Rockford Files" in DVD almost daily. In between I do small errands and fill out forms for me new job. I have to admit it feels like a waste of time for me, but I can't think of a new hobby for me that won't take up much time or money and will not have to be packed into a box.

Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

I passed my boards! I took them today and got the passing notification right when I finished taking the test. It was really nice because I did not have to stress and fret about the results for weeks. The sad thing is that the nauseated feeling in the pit of my stomach has not left yet. Although there was a feeling of relief as I walked out. I have certainly been worried about this exam for week, actually maybe months.

I feel like I am once again moving into another phase of life. Moving, starting a new job, going to the temple, and becoming whoever it is that I am supposed to be. For the past few years my life has been stagnant trying to finish my schooling. I am excited to be able to do more things with my time. I am just going to need to get out there and find things that interest me.

Up and Running

Two months after my knee surgery I am happy to say that I can once again run. Yeah! Today was my second day attempting a jog, mind to to was a run for three or four minutes, walk for one, and repeat, but it make me very happy. After 6 months of not being able to get my heart rate up it has made my day. I can also lunge and important task that is missing when one cannot do it. Life is looking up.

Yesterday I was offered the job in Minneapolis. I am 99.5% sure that I am taking the job. They have to send me paperwork officially offering me the job and I have to sign a letter and send it back. I am happy with the pay so I can't see why I won't take it. Minneapolis was a beautiful city when I visited...even though it was cold and snowy. I have to say that I have not invested in enough warm clothing. I got rid of a lot of it in Arizona. I must like polar opposites.

Time Passes too Quickly

Well, what can I say. I went to my interview in Minneapolis and it went really well. I always wish that I knew what the competition was like. I figure that with the holiday season here that I will not hear back about the job until at least next week. The waiting is the worst part. If I don't get this job then I am waiting until after my boards are taken to apply for any more jobs.

I registered to take my boards yesterday. The big day is scheduled for January 12th. I am far from ready. I could have taken them earlier, but I have a lot of studying that I need to do prior to actually taking them.
