Interview

Well, I have another interview, but it was not the one that I was really hoping from. I am interview with Utah Valley Pediatrics on Tuesday morning. They got my information for our family friend Stacey Bushell. I have been trying to decide if living in Provo would be the right place for me. It is difficult when I want to live an adventurous life....Provo sure sound safe and not very extravagant. I decided to look at it in a positive light. It is just an interview and I can always say no thank you, or they just might not like me, wither way there is no commitment yet. I keep waiting to hear back from Kansas City.

I am currently giving in to the fact that I need to visit the doctors office. It has been approximately 13 weeks since I have been able to run. I injured my knees when I ran down the hill hiking and thought that they would heal if I reasted them. One knee did, but the other one has been giving me issues. It hurts to go up stair, ride a bike, squat, and many other activities. All I can do is walk without much of an incline or decline and I am getting tired of it. So, I am planning to make the first step, an appointment to see someone. (P.S. My leg is not that hairy and there was no blood involved.)

As an update, I only have 69 days until I graduate.

Quick list of thoughts

Two Fridays ago while I was sleeping, between graveyard shifts, I got a call from Kansas City's Children's Hospital again. It turns out that the first woman that I interviewed with gave my application to the electrophysiology department there. Electrophysiology is a part of cardiology. It includes EKGs, pacemakers, Holter monitors, stress tests...all of the things that I worked with when I worked in EKG. The woman who called told me that she is hard to get a hold off, but that she was in the office on Fridays. I attempted to call her back this past Friday, but no return phone call. I will have to update you all later.

Cait was home with weekend with pneumonia. Poor Girl! Lots of coughing. She also had a chemistry test today, I remember the days of trying to struggle through chemistry.

John's birthday is today. We had dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Passey. Brent and Amber and two other tag-a-longs came too, but they were more excited to see Maren. We had a great dinner and some presents. Yeah!

It is raining outside today. I love the rain, but it always occurs on days that I am sleeping, or days that I have to work. I always want to stay at home in sweatpants on days like this. You would think that there could be some sort of coordination with my days off (which don't exist) and the rain.

Just so that everyone know...I have 75 days until I graduate. 75!

Piano Recital

This past Monday Maren had her final piano recital with Grandma Passey. It was good. She did a great job, when she made some mistakes she just went right on playing (when that happens to me I always get flustered and can't go on). Great flute skills from Caitlyn as well for an intermission. Yeah! My job was to just sit there and enjoy, the best job.

Time is Always a Factor

I am always finding time to be a huge restraint when it comes to blogging. When I have spare time there is always something to blog about, but when I am busy...the possibilities end. I have been put in my place and not realize that if I am to have a blog, I must blog more frequently. Although there have been other posts about my new niece, I thought that I would post some pictures for others to enjoy. There are not many pictures of me on here, so enjoy this one. I am sure that by now Elizabeth Jo looks very different. These pictures were taken just hours after her birth.

97 days

This is an update for those people like William who are impatient. I had the job interview with Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City this week. I think that it went decently. I am not sure it was the best ever, but I got the phone call unexpectedly one morning while I was still in bed. I am excited to hear back about it, but I am not trying not to be too rushed because...there are 97 days until I graduate. I am planning on calling Boston Children's Hospital on Tuesday. I will keep you posted.
I am off to bed, after a long night of work.
