New Bedding

I am certain that you are intensely interested in my decorating of my apartment so to meet you needs I am showing you some of my newest additions. Today I gave in a purchased bedding, yeah! It was not the cheapest, but it helped my to bypass the bedding which was going to cost my right arm and leg. I am happy to say that I will continue to mobile.

New Kitchen Table

I have been out exploring the territory surrounding dear Kaysville and have made some purchases that I am very excited about. One of them is the new kitchen table. The best feature...the bench. If I was going to a dinner party you better believe that I would fight for the bench seat.

I also bought a coffee (or the receipt said coctail) table. It is similar colors (black and brown), but there is no picture and it is in the box. I did not want to put it together and then have to move it. I consider myself "practical." You may beg to differ, but it will be ineffective.

Lost Phone

I have once again lost my phone and had to replace it. As an individual who has lost a phone more than once I promptly did the smart thing, which is to buy one of the most of expensive phones out there to replace it with, the Blackberry Storm. When I went to the store it was only in the back of my mind. I was going to be sensible and make thrifty decisions. Needless to say, I was easily swayed by the salesman in the pink shirt, mod haircut, who wanted to be a pediatric nurse practitioner when he grew up. It did take much to sell me...plus he had his own clothing line...who wouldn't immediately by the phone he recommends and uses? Needless to say I have been attempting to utilize its many features today. Pure bliss! Good thing that I have insurance.

For Curious Minds

I did take some photos while I was in Minneapolis on my house hunting expedition, but somehow I did not get the important photos. I never had the camera prepared...I was too into the moment. Imagine that...I was distracted. So, here are the not so special moments captured on film for those who are curious. Here I am out in the cold, wishing that I had a scarf. My ears were frozen and the wind was a blowing. I was waiting for someone to show me an apartment. I spend a lot of unexpected time outside waiting to meet people.
This is looking down one of the streets in Minneapolis in an area where they have converted many of the old mills into condos.

The Minneapolis Institute of Art, which is across the street from the apartment complex that I am moving into. I am excited about the time that I am going to be able to spend there.

The park that is diagnally across the street from the apartments. My aunt is concerned about my safety because of the park, but I think that I am a smart girl. I can handle the danger...I lived in a bad part of Phoenix.

The lovely apartment complex. It takes up and entire block. Although, I never got pictures of the inside...you will have to peruse the website to get a feel for the building itself.

New Home

I have found somewhere to live! Yeah! If you are highly interested you can check out the the apartments at Fair Oaks. I love that it is right across the street from the Minneapolis Institute of Art. A place to go when I need some down time. I am feeling a bit of guilt because my aunt and uncle wanted me in their ward, but I am outside their boundaries. What can I do?
The fun has begun though...looking for decor, a bed, a computer, a TV...I got rid of everything when I left. Perhaps I will just by pillows and everyone who comes to visit me can sleep on them and sit on then for their visits. Aaahhh, the possibilities.
