I got the new bedroom ceiling fan put together and hung it up. I did get electrocuted when I did it. I had all the switches upstairs on off, which is what I was told I needed to do. After that little experience I decided that I definitely needed to turn switch the breakers. Unfortunately, after working so hard to put it together and put, the wires kept disconnecting. I have decided to take it back down because I am going to sand the floors anyway and that will just make a hung sandy mess.

I put one up in our bedroom when we moved to TN. I was nervous and decided to disconnect the fuse in the fuse box. Hope your shock wasn't too bad.
